In this love letter to a 1971 V.W. Westfalia, two middle-aged hippies embark on an off-road adventure to a remote surf camp in Baja six months after 9-11. They get lost in the desert, make friends with local ranch hands, experience a meteor shower in lieu of actually taking showers, and evade several Mexican National Guard checkpoints before finally being forced to stop for an inspection that ends unexpectedly quickly.
